Wildstar on the other hand, the economy is provided by the game. In fact if a player wants to earn money the best way to do so is to farm gold by killing mobs, doing quests, or selling junk items to NPCs. All these activities, unlike in Eve where money creation is very limited and is mostly transferred, in Wildstar the dominate way to make money is to create more money.
As a result, if I am looking to purchase free game-time through wildstar’s CREDD system I have to constantly bring new gold into the game, because the demand for player made products are very slim and almost non-profitable. Where as in Eve, there are a lot of activities I can do to earn in-game money. I can explore for rare items, run industry jobs, or simply become a pirate stealing other player's goods. None of these are activities that create additional money into the game, and all are viable choices for anyone to purchase PLEX with the money they earn in-game. So unlike the PLEX system, CREDD encourages inflation as the only way a player could actually purchase CREDD from in-game money is to literally create more money out of thin air.
